Our client is a reputed international company that is of Italian origin with the trade name: Magneti Marelli, which mainly deals with the manufacturing of automotive equipment. The manufacturing brand is in Corbetta, Italy was established in the year 1919. It is one of the most renowned global manufacturers and suppliers of auto parts. The company is well established throughout Asian, African, European, and American regions, owning 170 plants and research centers and 26 application centers located in 19 countries.  

Besides the geographical spread, Magneti Marelli employs approximately 58,000 employees. The workforce is engaged in innovation in manufacturing, reversing customer preferences, and ready to co-write the future via investment in CASE: Connected, Autonomous, Shared Electric.  

The automotive equipment giant already had a tech-driven connected vehicle component under its arsenal. Also, they were looking at ideas on how safe driving solutions could be deployed with cloud infrastructure. They expected us to make it possible to implement modern cloud technology for the new connected vehicles the company planned on developing.

Our Process

What it means is that we incorporated these various qualities of cloud technology into its client’s connected vehicle solutions as we hit the deadline. It allowed an automotive equipment maker to gather data, bolster the safety of vehicles, and address problems from a distance. Besides, such functions as prediction of damages, traffic analysis, and preventive checks as a means of minimizing the costs and immobilization of movement are provided. The Problem

DevOps Experts India identified that Magneti Marelli was most stretched up in areas such as; technologies for increasing safe-driving scenarios, and safe adoption of connected car ecosystems leveraging cloud with the existing Telematics Boxes—4G and 5G.   

The company also wanted to achieve the desired efficiency of next-gen capabilities such as predictive maintenance. Additionally, the client also desired a solution for fast and near real-time vehicle data capture and analysis.

Project Challenges

1. Network Connectivity

Connected vehicles require solid and fast access to an internet connection. A critical one was to make sure the reliability of the network stayed intact in areas of poor network or network outages .

2.Scalability and Performance

Clients require a cloud solution to manage a vast amount of data produced by connected vehicles. Two significant inefficiencies were scalability and maximum efficiency underloads. 

Results

Implementing client-focused and strategic tech-savvy approaches, DevOps Experts India helped the client to enhance the cooperation of connected vehicles to exchange crucial data on road conditions, traffic, congestion areas, accidents, etc. By so doing, the brand provided improved drive, safety, and other vehicle features.
